About our Building
Welcome to TechTown Detroit. You’re going to want to stay here awhile.
More than 50 businesses call our historic building home. Some are clients or alumni, others are businesses unaffiliated with our programs but still drawn to our facility’s unique amenities, flexible lease terms and supportive community of like-minded, Detroit-loving peers.
Our building, of quintessential Albert Kahn architecture, began as a service department for Pontiac when it was built in 1927, then it later became the Chevy Creative Services building. The Corvette was designed on the third floor, and auto show displays were built here as well.
As a founding partner, General Motors contributed the building, but of course it was renovated before we officially reopened its doors in 2004. Today TechTown offers a range of spaces, including small offices, office suites, labs and co-working space (Q4 of 2013).
If you’re interested in renting space at TechTown, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Include your name, your organization’s name, the number of people you need to accommodate, the type of space you’re looking for, and your preferred move-in date.
