Mario joined TechTown Detroit back in 2022 as a Community Ambassador. He is a first-generation son of immigrants, born in México and raised in Southwest Detroit. Having obtained his degree in graphic design at Henry Ford College and working as a Community Ambassador at TechTown, Mario developed a strong passion for engaging with and learning about Detroit’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, while also making meaningful contributions and driving innovation.

Passionate about helping local businesses thrive, fostering opportunities that strengthen his community, and supporting Detroit’s economic development, Mario combines creativity with strategic insight in everything he undertakes, making him a valuable contributor to his team and the founders.

Outside of work, Mario’s hobbies are reading novels, watching films, and going on walks with his miniature dachshund, Penny.
