Danielle’s fundraising experience is diverse, spanning from non-commercial media to the arts. After more than a decade specializing in raising money from the corporate sector, she developed unique and memorable ways to deepen the connection between nonprofits and their funders by highlighting sponsor products in creative ways. Though she never got to see a tequila luge come to fruition—despite every effort—Danielle has initiated other ideas to elevate a company’s brand, including digital marketing, gobos and giveaways. In her current role, Danielle oversees fundraising efforts for TechTown and the various programs and initiatives housed in the Wayne State University Office of Economic Development.
Energized by the opportunities to contribute to the city’s revitalization efforts, Danielle moved to Detroit in the summer of 2015 after nearly a decade working Louisville, Kentucky. She and her husband live downtown while they lovingly restore their homes in Corktown. Though she has immensely enjoyed getting to know the exceptional dining options in Detroit, Danielle feels like more restaurants should feature her favorite vegetable: eggplant.
