In this comprehensive 90-minute hybrid workshop, Laura Wood-Romito of the MSU Product Center, in partnership with TechTown Detroit, will help entrepreneurs navigate the transition from operating under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law to launching a fully licensed commercial food business.
Participants will learn how to identify and access commercial kitchen space, understand licensing and regulatory requirements through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), and explore opportunities to expand into wholesale and other distribution channels.
