Gillian Hanton is TechTown’s Content Marketing Manager, serving as the organization’s chief storyteller. Before joining TechTown, she served as the Content Marketing Coordinator at Michigan Humane, where she documented animal stories, supported content production, and appeared in more than 100 news segments to help shelter animals find homes. She is proud to step into a role that allows her to continue giving back to the Detroit community.
A lifelong creative, she enjoys a variety of hobbies, including crafting, baking, running, ice skating, and reading. She hopes to keep adding to this list as she works her way through the pile of unfinished crafts in the back of her closet.
When she’s not working, you can find her spending time with those closest to her, including her parents, partner, and two rescue dogs, Sebastian and Clover.
