Meet Mack Hendricks, EIR at TechTown Detroit.

In August of 2021, Mack Hendricks joined TechTown as an entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR) supporting tech programming. Mack was born in Detroit and raised in Southfield with a passion to make change.

In the early stages of his career, Mack obtained bachelor and masters degrees in computer science from Oakland University. After college, he worked for large Silicon Valley-based companies for most of his 20-year career, including five years at Sun Microsystems and 10 years at Oracle Corporation. In parallel, he’s also built companies in the restaurant and technology sectors.

Mack’s current focus areas are unified communications, DevOps and distributed technologies, such as blockchain.

After immersing himself in TechTown, Mack learned that his favorite part about working with clients is hearing the passion in their voices when describing business concepts.
