TechTown and the Wayne State University Industry Innovation Center (I2C) are served by the QLINE Amsterdam Station,  DDOT routes 16, 23, 53, and 498, and SMART routes 445, 450, 460, 465, and 475. They are served by DDOT routes 80 and 89 during the morning and evening. There is a stop for the Wayne State Main Campus and Medical Campus shuttles in front of the Wayne State University Industry Innovation Center. 

There is a MoGo bike share station at Second Avenue and Burroughs. Bike parking is available next to TechTown and in the bike shelter at Cass and Amsterdam.

There is a Zipcar lot one block south of TechTown at Cass and York (Lot 13).
