The Spring 2022 Start Studio Discovery Showcase streamed virtually on Wednesday, April 27. The showcase included pitch presentations from six innovative, tech-based businesses.
The Showcase attracted numerous votes for the People’s Choice voting and after months of diligent work and preparation for the pitch competition, TechTown Detroit is pleased to share the winners of the Spring 2022 Start Studio Showcase:
1st Place – $1,500
Tim Simpson, Brewery Hunter
Brewery Hunter LLC is committed to helping Michigan Breweries meet the rising demands of craft beer consumers through delivery services.
2nd Place – $750
Paul Horrell, The Professor
The principal feature of The Professor is the autonomous negotiating agent that can engage in autonomous negotiation on behalf of their respective actors. These autonomous agents develop a dynamic preference profile for preferred outcomes based on continuously updated streams of data fed to them by their actor’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, weather info, analytical market data, etc.
3rd Place – $250
Susan Dials, The Kindness Rally
Think “Pokemon Go” for kindness. The Kindness Rally combines the community connections from the original Kindness Rally event with the comfort of participating from behind a screen.
People’s Choice – $500
