She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with studies in criminal justice, psychology and accounting. She believes professional and personal development are integral and is working to earn her Certified Public Accountant designation.  

Prior to TechTown, Ashley shined in roles of finance and operations as well as resource development. She helped start a nonprofit focused on green infrastructure and enjoys volunteering with local cleanup efforts along the Detroit and Rouge rivers.   

Working with TechTown is exciting for Ashley, as it combines her experience, education and drive for efficiency and creativity.  Finding creativity is important to Ashley, whether in her work at TechTown or within her personal life. She enjoys doodling, painting and would like to begin stained glass art.  

Outside of work, Ashley loves to spend time in nature, with trees, on beaches or swimming in Michigan’s Great Lakes and many rivers. She is a Detroit sports fan and can often be found wondering what her next adventure will be.
