An intensive, 12-week course with post-graduate coaching for entrepreneurs preparing to open a brick-and-mortar business in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. RBC helps strengthen local businesses looking to grow to a permanent location.
A monthly pop-up marketplace helping local entrepreneurs build skills and connect to new customers. Vendors receive support from TechTown strategists in technology, inventory management, merchandising, sales and operations.
Customized, one-on-one coaching for small businesses in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park. TechTown strategists work with business owners for up to six months to build skills in finance, marketing and management and reach growth goals to increase revenue, create jobs and access capital.
The SBSH Grant Program is designed to provide support for established 1st stage and 2nd stage businesses who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grant provides free programming, courses, events, and support designed to help your business recover from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and help you achieve the success you seek for your business.
The SBSH Grant was awarded to TechTown Detroit, funded through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), to serve Small Businesses in Wayne County who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have partnered with ProsperUS Detroit, Eastern Market, SBDC, and BUILD Institute to expand our collective free programming, resources, events and more beyond Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck to all of Wayne County.
