There is definitely not one sole avenue to attracting capital for your business. For instance, what types of funding are you trying to attract? Angel, friends & family or traditional VC? As you enter meetings with funders, what needs to be prepared and presented — business plan, executive summary, slide deck, etc…? As you buildout your team, the makeup of your core team members may dictate what type/level of funding you are able to access.
