TechTown and our local partners BUILD Institute, Venture Catalysts and Grand Innovation are proud to host an Info Session with Pamela Dover, Senior Director of Business Development & Marketing for Comcast Business, on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 2 – 3 p.m. to share more details about the Comcast RISE Investment Fund and how to apply for the $10,000 monetary grant. The Investment Fund is the latest extension of Comcast RISE (Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment) launched in 2020 to provide BIPOC-owned, small businesses the opportunity to apply for marketing and technology services from Comcast Business and Effectv.Comcast RISE includes:
MONETARY GRANT: A $10,000 grant distributed to 100 businesses in Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck for a total of $1,000,000. Applications are open March 1 – 14, 2021. Grants will be announced at the end of April 2021 and awarded in May 2021
MARKETING & TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE: Now through August 2022 on a quarterly basis, Comcast will select businesses to receive a combination of:
• Marketing and advertising consulting
• Media
• Creative production
• Technology makeover
