Biography
Jacob joined TechTown as director of mobility and health innovation in 2025. He leads the Mobility Accelerator Innovation Network (MAIN) and MedHealth programs, responsible for developing partnerships, connecting startups to critical resources, and surfacing equitable opportunities for entrepreneurs across the region.
As a longtime contributor to the Southeast Michigan startup ecosystem, Jacob has experience growing businesses, building inclusive communities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering meaningful connections. He holds a bachelor of business administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. When not at TechTown, you can find him reading classic sci-fi, creating interactive art objects, and building cross-communal bridges in Detroit and beyond.
