Posh Fashions, a trendy, affordable women’s fashion boutique located in Detroit’s Marina District, celebrates its Grand Opening on May 7. Posh Fashions offers a wide selection of women’s apparel in sizes 0-24, as well as shoes and accessories.

“We have done extensive research on body types, fit, and sizing to ensure that our customers are getting the best shopping experience at an affordable price,” says owner Aisha Warren.

Warren worked with TechTown’s SWOT City program, a small business support program for brick-and-mortar enterprises in Detroit neighborhoods. Since 2014, SWOT City has helped 10 new businesses open along the East Jefferson corridor, working in partnership with Jefferson East Inc.

“SWOT City supports individual businesses while, at the same time, catalyzing entire commercial districts,” says Regina Ann Campbell, TechTown’s managing director of place-based entrepreneurship. “We are committed to helping Detroiters like Aisha Warren launch their businesses in Detroit, providing jobs, opportunities and amenities in our neighborhoods.”

Warren has high praise for the SWOT City program and for Detroit’s growing entrepreneurial community.

Posh Fashions is located at 11200 East Jefferson Ave. in Detroit. The Grand Opening takes place from 10am-7pm on Saturday,May 7, with a ribbon cutting at 10am. Regular store hours are 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday.
