Personal Financial Literacy Workshop Series with Chemical Bank-Budgeting

In the first of four sessions, we will discuss budgeting. One of the first steps to financial security is planning and following a budget. This workshop illustrates the importance of budgeting, how to track spending, explains the various aspects of a budget and how to make adjustments if your expenses exceed your income. It also explains different budgeting systems, provides tips for budgeting, offers ways to decrease spending and includes information on some tax credits that may help increase your income.
