15 Minutes of Fame: Podcast Day
April 4, 2019 @ 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm
$5In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.*
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at creating a podcast? Now’s your chance! While we can’t guarantee world-wide fame, we’re bringing you the chance at Detroit notoriety with our Podcast Trial Day. The topic of the day is entrepreneurial escapades, startup stories and small business survival. For just $5, you’ll get 15 minutes of air time with a professional producer and equipment.
This is YOUR show—you can talk by yourself or bring up to two guests. Talk about your business, your journey, your passion, success, failure. Talk about your experience in the Detroit ecosystem. How and why do you do what you do?
How it works:
• There are 18 15-minute time slots available. Choose your time slot under the “tickets” button.
• ONE SLOT PER CUSTOMER
• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You’ll get only a couple minutes to settle in and begin, so be ready to go. The producer will set you up and keep time. You’ll get a two-minute warning to wrap up your session.
• If you arrive late, your time slot will be given to the next person in line and you will go to the bottom of the list. No refunds.
• The episodes will be emailed to each host and also uploaded to TechTown’s SoundCloud account. You’ll be able to share and use the file however you’d like. Each sound bite will include an intro stating that it was produced at TechTown.**
ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Jonathan Galloway is the co-founder of Audio Wave Network. The vision behind it was to create a network where people can have their voices heard.
