Meet Carrie Vestrand, Retail Strategist at TechTown Detroit.

Carrie, a native Michigander, has been with TechTown Detroit since December 2018. Carrie joined TechTown after being on the front lines of her own brick-and-mortar business for 12 years where she developed a deep understanding of retail operations from customer service, inventory management and merchandising to pop-up development and strategy. Retail is Carrie’s jam, and she says that being able to support independent retail entrepreneurs is “the best!”

Carrie works with clients from many different industries to help them elevate their brick-and-mortar businesses. Her favorite part of working with clients is brainstorming and strategizing with them as they navigate the ever-changing retail landscape. Carrie said, “As a former retail business owner, I know how difficult it is to always be able to tap into new creative ideas and energy to move your business forward. I’ve been there, done that, and will continue to be their biggest cheerleader!”
