Tech founders and developers play a significant role in the industry, creating innovative solutions that solve complex problems. They are the driving force behind the development of technologies with the potential to change the world. That is why events like the recent Tech Founder x Developer Mixer hosted by TechTown Detroit’s Technology-Based Programs team are so important.
Shaping Detroit’s technology future
The mixer was held on April 14 at the event and coworking space 6001 Cass Ave., in Detroit. We brought together tech founders, developers and industry professionals to network, share ideas and learn from one another. Eighty-eight attendees connected with like-minded individuals to discuss their experiences and build relationships that could lead to future collaborations.
One of the highlights of the event was a fireside chat. This informative chat featured Tech-Based Program team members David Webber, Marlin Williams, Mack Hendricks, Stefan Sysko, Joshua Tooker, Sukhwindar Ajimal and Dawn Batts. They shared their insights and expertise on various topics related to the industry, including entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.
The event was also a fantastic opportunity for attendees to learn more about TechTown’s Tech-Based Programs. The team provided information about their various programs and resources, including scheduling a Strategy Session with one of their customer discovery specialists and entrepreneurs-in-residence.
Attendees also enjoyed delicious food from vendors such as Ice Cream Detroit, Atwater Bar Management and The Detroit Pepper Co. DJ k$ provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening, adding to the lively and vibrant atmosphere.
Ultimately, this event provided a valuable opportunity for professionals to connect, learn and grow. Thank you to all who helped make the event a success!
