In the early days of the crisis, we knew Detroit’s most vulnerable businesses and nonprofits didn’t have time to wait for state and federal relief programs. We stepped up with quick, easy-to-apply-for funding to get them through those first weeks and months.

Programming on the Most Urgent Needs
TechTown shifted our program model to meet the immediate needs of small businesses most impacted by the pandemic, including entrepreneurs in Black and Brown communities.

With the pandemic came the need to transition our community hub to a space that could safely meet the needs of the many local businesses and organizations who call TechTown home.
