The Fisher Building invites everyone to its Holiday Market on Saturday, Dec. 16, from Noon to 5 p.m. Embrace the festive spirit with a delightful day of holiday shopping featuring more than 20 retailers, including captivating pop-ups offering clothing, home goods, health and beauty products, jewelry and accessories, baked goods, holiday decor, and more. In addition to shopping, watch the “Rudolph the Red-Noses Reindeer” musical at the Fisher Theatre or take a free tour to discover the building’s architectural marvels. This season, Detroit’s Largest Art Object is Detroit’s most attractive destination for holiday shopping and holiday fun!

“The holidays are a great time to experience the historic Fisher Building,” said Clarke Lewis, president of The Platform. “There is a reason it’s one of the city’s top tourist attractions and is known as Detroit’s Largest Art Object. By combining the holiday market, theatre performances and tours, the Fisher offers something for everyone and a memorable holiday experience.”

The Fisher is pleased to partner with TechTown Detroit for this year’s Holiday Market, featuring pop-up vendors, all graduates of TechTown’s Retail Boot Camp (RBC). RBC is an intensive, hands-on, 12-week program that prepares emerging entrepreneurs to open their brick-and-mortar establishments in Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park.

“TechTown is thrilled to collaborate on this festive pop-up marketplace in the iconic Fisher Building, providing an exciting opportunity for our program alumni to thrive,” said Christina Devlin, TechTown Detroit retail strategist. “Beyond offering a unique shopping experience for the community, this marketplace creates a platform for the small business owners to connect with new customers, foster business growth and expand their customer base.”
