D-Venture and DTX Fellows

D-Venture and DTX Fellows are programs of the Detroit Technology Exchange (DTX), a programmatic partnership between TechTown Detroit, the Detroit Creative Corridor CenterGrand Circus, the Henry Ford Innovation InstituteInvest Detroit, and NextEnergy designed to recruit and groom talent for tech entrepreneurship opportunities and convert innovative technologies into successful Detroit-based startups. It is supported by the Michigan Economic Development Corp.’s Michigan Strategic Fund and the New Economy Initiative for Southeast Michigan.

  • The D-Venture entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR) program seats selected entrepreneurial-minded professionals to mine the underutilized and/or underdeveloped intellectual property (IP) developed within our city. Each EIR is available to assist entrepreneurs in developing their business strategy based on the IP; act as CEO of a company advancing the IP or technology; raise venture investments to advance the company and more.
  • The DTX Fellows program places high-quality, mid-level talent into Detroit’s startups and entrepreneurial support organizations.
