Meet Christina Devlin, a retail strategist on TechTown’s Small Business Services team.

Christina has been with TechTown Detroit since January of 2019 and resides in Dearborn. Prior to joining TechTown’s staff, Christina served as a guest presenter for Retail Boot Camp in 2018. Christina has over 20 years of experience in retail program management, operations, product development and nonprofit leadership at Pewabic Pottery and the Detroit Institute of Arts. Operations and maximizing sales are Christina’s wheelhouse, including creating the customer experience, writing and strengthening standard operating procedures, training staff, improving visual merchandising and creating long-term business strategies.

Christina’s favorite part about working with her many clients is helping them figure out the next step on their journey — whether they are just starting out and not sure where to begin, or whether they have years invested into building their business and aren’t sure how to grow it to the next level. She says, “It’s so exciting to watch a business owner with a passion for what they do go from a simple idea to defining and refining that idea to really owning their own piece of the retail market, whatever that looks like. It’s an honor to get to go on that journey with them.”
